• Clean the skin thoroughly before applying this product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product. If irritation develops, stop use of both products and ask a doctor. Sensitivity Test for a New User. Apply product sparingly to one or two small affected areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, follow the directions stated above.

Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% ? An antibacterial agent commonly used in acne treatments. It works to kill the P. acnes bacteria that cause acne and reduce inflammation. It also increases the sloughing rate of epithelial cells and loosens the follicular plug structure slowing the formation of whiteheads and blackheads.

Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract → A rich, natural source of salicylic acid, a beta-hydroxy acid. Has mild antiseptic and keratolytic properties.

Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract → Traditionally used in topical treatments of burns, sunburns, skin irritations, insect bites and bruises. It is credited with anti-inflammatory and wound healing abilities. Mildly astringent, it helps reduce the appearance of enlarged pores.

Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract → Considered to have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and healing properties.
