Kojic acid, a mushroom derivative, has been successfully used for many years in Japan, offering greater effectiveness than hydroquinone bleach with lesser sensitivity, side effects or long-term complications. Additional research verifies that kojic acid also is antibacterial, especially helpful for treating acne and resultant hyperpigmentation at the same time.

Suggested Use:
- Apply twice daily, morning and evening to entire face or to specific spots.
- If using C-Esta Serum, apply Lightening Gel over Serum. Moisturizer, sunblock and makeup may be applied after Lightening Gel.
